Hello,

I am Kelly L. Wood, Broker Owner of RE/MAX Excel, REALTORS. I am glad you took the time to click on my page. I would like to share a bit about myself but most importantly share with you the knowledge and experience I have to make your next real estate transaction be flawless. After reading this short biography I hope you will consider me whether buying or selling your next home.

For starters, I have been a resident of Hendricks County since 1979. I graduated from Avon High School in 1984 and in 1988 I received my Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Indiana University. After graduation I continued my studies in Real Estate and received my Salesperson License in the summer of 1988. In 2002, I obtained my Brokers License and in 2003 received my first designation as a CRS. (Certified Residential Specialist)

With my proven sales success as a Top 100 RE/MAX Sales Agent since 2001 to date and with my strong desire to mentor others I decided to purchased the RE/MAX Excel, REALTORS franchise, the building located at 7341 East US 36, Avon, IN and merge RE/MAX Connection. Over the past couple years we have grown from 43 agents to as many as 55 agents strong. Thus, being honored with Recruiter of the Year with RE/MAX of Indiana in 2008. Even more exciting news is that our growth took our annual sales from 39 million in 2007 to over 90 million in 2009.

To accomplish these great strides in our ever-changing market requires continual education. Education in bank foreclosures and their process was made readily available with a new certification called CDPE, Certified Distressed Property Expert. CDPE gave a whole new insight for realtors to help homeowners avoid foreclosure. I acquired my CDPE certification in 2009 and I look forward to taking this knowledge and more to assist homeowners as we move into a new decade.

I specialize in real estate sales and listings in Avon, Brownsburg, Clermont, Clayton, Danville, Plainfield, Pittsboro and Indianapolis. (In short, Marion and Hendricks County.) As a RE/MAX Excel sales professional and owner, I have only one goal and that is to give: Just what the name implies… “EXCELLENCE IN REAL ESTATE!”
